Cooling - Data Centers. Servers and Communications
Maintaining the environment is a basic critical requirement for virtually all systems. NAAT can help you evaluate your requirements and design and supply the appropriate cooling system for your application. NAAT is an authorized partner of virtually all major vendors of Cooling systems.
We can design for all levels of systems redundancy for cooling
N = Single System - No redundancy
N+1 = Multiple Systems - with one extra unit as spare capacity
2N = 2 fully independent systems each equal to heat load - 100% redundancy
Introducing the New APC In-Row 30 KW High Density Data Center Cooling Solution >
In-Row Cooling Technology - Uses only 1/3 the space of
traditional systems.
The New Standard in High Density Cooling. It changes all the rules. This sets a
new Paradigm for cooling in Data Centers.
You have to see it to believe it.
In Row Cooling Improves Energy Efficiency
Close Coupled Cooling
The APC Inrow unit cooling falls under the general category of close coupled cooling. Close coupled cooling is more energy efficient than tradition perimeter CRACs with raised floor cooling. This is due the fact that the distance that the air needs to travel (cool and warm return) is much shorter, thereby improving the effective net cooling power, and also lower the fan energy required to move the air. This also prevents hot and cold from mixing, which impacts efficiency.
In addition, the APC Inrow unit is designed to be used as the basis for:
Contained Cooling
Hot Aisle Containment
Cold Aisle Containment
Rack Level Containment
The APC Inrow unit can be installed to operate more efficiently in all of the above. This is particularly true at High-Density heat loads where power exceeds the capabilities of traditional cooling, which begin to lose efficiency beyond 2 KW per rack:
5-8 KW per rack using Close Coupled Cooling
8-15 KW
per rack for Hot
or Cold Aisle Containment
15-30
KW
per rack using Rack Level
Containment
NAAT has various options to design and outfit (or retro fit) your data center or server room to meet cooling challenges and improve your energy efficiency.
With over 20 years of experience, NAAT will work with your IT and Faculties staff, as well as architects, construction contactors to design and deliver a cast-effective, flexible site that will grow with your organization's ever changing IT environment.
